The Township of Ocean Sewerage Authority (TOSA) provides wastewater treatment for the Township of Ocean, Monmouth County, NJ In addition to Ocean Township, the Authority provides sanitary sewerage service for the neighboring communities of Deal, Allenhurst, Interlaken and the Loch Arbour. The total population served is approximately 30,000 people. The Authority is dedicated to preserve and protect the water resources in our local community. The Authority's administrative offices and treatment plant are located at 224 Roosevelt Avenue in the Oakhurst section of Ocean Township. The Authority is an autonomous governmental body of five members. All members are appointed for staggered 5 year terms by the Township of Ocean's Mayor and Council. The Authority appoints its professional legal, accounting, and engineering consultants.
